Core Values

Our Core Values define who we are, what we do, and why we do it. It is out of these values that we find our Mission and Vision.

We are a
Christian
People

We are members of the Universal Church of Jesus Christ, joining with all those throughout history who claim the Lordship of Jesus Christ and embrace the historical Trinitarian creedal statements of the Christian Faith.  We value our Wesleyan-Holiness heritage and believe it to be a way of understanding the faith that is true to Scripture, reason, tradition, and experience. (Acts 11:26, 2 Peter 1:1)

We are a
Holiness
People

We are a church which is different from the world around us.  When the world looks at us, they see people who are loving God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength, and loving them as well (1 Peter 1:13-15, 2:11-12)

We are People Committed to PRAYER

We are a church which is committed to prayer, understanding that it is through prayerful communion that we grow in Christ, and that it is through intercession that lives are changed. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; Philippians 4:6-7; Jeremiah 29:12)

We are People
Committed to
Family

We are a church which works hard to support, strengthen and encourage the families of our Church and our community.  We understand that healthy and strong families are God’s design for the future of His Kingdom and our world (Malachi 2:15)

We are People
committed to
DISCIPLESHIP

We are a church in which people purposefully pursue Christlikeness together as group and in our individual daily living (Matthew 6:33)

We are a
MISSIONAL
People

We are a church which is excited about the spreading of the Good News, and makes a point to physically and financially support missional efforts both here and abroad (Matthew 28:18-20)

We are People
Committed to our
COMMUNITY

We are a church which strives to be involved in our community for the purpose of sharing the love of Christ with all, especially the lost and the needy (James 1:27)
